Quickeee, a quick-commerce platform for fashion, has launched in Mumbai, offering delivery of apparel, footwear and accessories within 60 minutes and allowing customers to try products before paying for the items they choose to keep.
The company said it is currently available only in Mumbai and is backed by an undisclosed round of funding. The capital will be used to strengthen its fulfilment network, expand its catalogue and support its planned entry into other Indian cities.
Quickeee's model allows customers to order multiple sizes or styles, try them at home and pay only for the products they decide to keep. Items that customers do not wish to purchase can be handed back to the delivery executive immediately.
The company said the service is supported by a network of hyperlocal dark stores and rapid order processing operations across Mumbai. It said the network enables deliveries across the city, including South Mumbai and suburban areas, within an hour of placing an order.
Naveen Kunal, director at Quickeee, said the platform was designed to address uncertainty associated with buying fashion products online.
“The single biggest barrier to online fashion has never been price. It's uncertainty: will it fit, will it suit me, was it worth the wait. Our try-before-you-buy model at Quickeee removes that uncertainty at the point of decision, not after a return cycle. That's the shift we're building toward. That's Quickeee. Because we believe great style shouldn't keep you waiting.”
The platform said inconsistent sizing across brands and the difficulty of assessing how products will look or fit before purchase remain among the challenges of online fashion shopping. Its try-before-you-buy model is intended to reduce the need for conventional return processes by allowing customers to make a decision at the time of delivery.
Quickeee's catalogue includes apparel, footwear and accessories for men and women, covering everyday wear and occasion-based products. The company said it uses demand forecasting to maintain inventory of products from partner brands at its fulfilment locations.
The Quickeee app is available on iOS and Android.
