JSW MG Motor India has appointed Parth Jindal as chairman of the company, effective immediately.
Jindal has been a member of the board since the formation of the joint venture between JSW Group and MG Motor. During his time on the board, he has been involved in the company’s product strategy, manufacturing expansion and localisation programme.
Jindal is managing director of JSW Cement and JSW Paints and chairman of JSW Dulux and JSW MG Motor India. He also serves as a director on the board of JSW Energy.
Beyond the JSW Group’s businesses, Jindal is the founder of JSW Sports and chairman and co-owner of the Delhi Capitals.
His appointment comes as JSW MG Motor India continues to operate under the joint venture between JSW Group and MG Motor.
