Dentsu India has promoted Akshay Dhody to senior director of media planning. Dhody announced the appointment in a LinkedIn post.
Sharing the update, Dhody said, "I'm excited to share that I've been promoted to Senior Director – Media Planning at Dentsu India."
Dhody has held multiple leadership roles across Dentsu India and dentsu X. Before his promotion, he served as business director at Dentsu India.
During his tenure at dentsu X, he held the positions of associate business director, group head and senior business manager, overseeing media planning responsibilities across the agency.
He began his career at Mediabrands, where he worked as a management trainee before being promoted to business manager.
