Mercedes-Benz India has appointed Nandita Godbole as its new Head of Marketing, effective Sept. 1, 2026, as part of a broader leadership reshuffle aimed at strengthening customer engagement and digital capabilities.
Godbole succeeds Amrit Baid, who will take over the company's Retail Finance and Pre-Owned Cars business. She currently serves as General Manager, Digital Customer Unit, and has held roles spanning marketing, retail sales and digital customer operations.
In her new role, Godbole will lead Mercedes-Benz India's marketing strategy, with a focus on using real-time data and predictive insights to deliver more personalised customer experiences.
The appointments are part of a wider organisational restructuring designed to deepen customer engagement through artificial intelligence, data-driven decision-making and integrated business functions. The company said the changes also support leadership development by creating broader cross-functional opportunities for senior executives.
As part of the transition, Baid will oversee the company's retail finance and pre-owned car business. Mercedes-Benz India said its retail finance division supports more than half of its vehicle sales and manages a financing portfolio of more than ₹15,000 crore.
The company also announced that Jamsheed Bhadha, General Manager, Product Planning and Sales Planning, will move to a new role within Mercedes-Benz in Dubai. He will be succeeded by Sanjay Kochar, currently General Manager, TEV and BEV Sales.
Brendon Sissing, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Mercedes-Benz India, said the leadership changes are intended to strengthen the company's customer-centric strategy while expanding the use of AI, real-time data and integrated business capabilities to support future growth.
