Shiprocket Quick, the on-demand hyperlocal delivery service of Shiprocket, has launched a campaign titled ‘Toh Pehle Bata Deta’, featuring actor Manoj Pahwa. The film focuses on the uncertainty surrounding local courier pickups and its impact on small business owners.

The film follows Pahwa as an electronics shop owner whose daughter is getting married. While the wedding celebrations progress from the baraat to the pheras and vidai, he remains concerned about a customer parcel awaiting pickup outside his shop. His attempts to manage the pending delivery leave him distracted during important moments of the family occasion.

The story takes a turn after the wedding, when a wedding planner urgently needs to send a box of sweets and books through Shiprocket Quick. A rider is assigned and arrives shortly afterwards, prompting Pahwa to respond, “Toh pehle bata deta!” The film ends with the jingle, “Jhat se assign, phat se pick, local delivery with Shiprocket Quick.”

The campaign centres on the difficulties sellers face when pickup timings are uncertain, particularly during the festive season, when order volumes and expectations around fulfilment can increase. Rather than focusing solely on delivery speed, the film highlights the role of predictable pickups in helping businesses manage time-sensitive local orders.

Commenting on the campaign, Kautilya, senior vice-president and head of growth and marketing at Shiprocket, said, “For many sellers, delivery delays are not just operational inconveniences, they can disrupt an entire day. With this film, we wanted to bring that insight to life through humour rather than simply talk about faster delivery. The story captures a situation many business owners will recognise: trying to be present for an important personal moment while work still demands their attention. Shiprocket Quick is built for moments when waiting is not an option, and this becomes even more relevant during the festive season, when speed and reliability matter the most.”

Ira G, chief creative officer at Toaster INSEA, said, “A delayed delivery can disrupt operations, affect customer experience and add stress to a business owner’s day. We wanted to bring this real challenge to life through humour, using a wedding setting and Manoj Pahwa to take the chaos to an entertaining extreme. Shiprocket Quick fits naturally into the story, showing how technology can simplify everyday business operations.”

The campaign will run across digital and social platforms. Shiprocket Quick will also conduct on-ground activations in key wholesale markets across Delhi-NCR in partnership with local trader communities.
