Pinterest has introduced a range of artificial intelligence-powered tools for advertisers and consumers, including a business assistant for marketers, new advertising features and an experimental shopping application.
The company said its new Pinterest Business Assistant is designed to help advertisers create and manage campaigns through its Ads Manager platform. The tool can provide recommendations, campaign insights and performance data. It is currently being tested with a select group of advertising partners.
Pinterest also announced support for Model Context Protocol, or MCP, which allows advertisers to connect Pinterest advertising data with third-party AI assistants and automation tools.

The company has expanded its advertising products with new AI-powered creative features, including dynamic creative selection, which automatically identifies and delivers ad variations based on predicted performance. Pinterest also introduced additional reporting and ad review tools aimed at providing advertisers with more campaign feedback.

Separately, Pinterest launched Ask Pinterest, an experimental application focused on shopping and product discovery. The app is designed to support conversational searches and more complex decision-making processes, such as planning events, choosing gifts or furnishing a home.
According to Pinterest, the app will be used to test AI-driven discovery experiences that could later be incorporated into its main platform. Ask Pinterest is currently available in the United States.
The announcements come as Pinterest continues to invest in AI tools across its advertising and consumer products. The company said it has 631 million monthly active users worldwide.
