India secures nine shortlists in latest Cannes Lions 2026 announcements
India has secured nine shortlists across the Film Craft, Media, Design and Direct categories in the latest round of announcements at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2026.
The latest selections follow the eight shortlists India received across seven categories announced earlier this week.
Film Craft

Box To Beds – Amazon (Ogilvy Mumbai) – Social Behaviour
Vim Ka Mahakadhai Record – Vim, Hindustan Unilever (Mindshare India) – Single Market Campaign
Design
The Art of Survival – Godawan (22Feet Mumbai and Butterfly Cannon London) – Packaging Design
The Slooowest Vending Machine in the World – KitKat (VML) – Brand Environment and Experience Design
Direct
Blinkstop – Blinkstop (82.5 Communications Mumbai and Grey India) – Experience Design

India did not receive any shortlists in Digital Craft, Entertainment, Industry Craft, PR, Social & Creator, Entertainment Lions for Gaming, Entertainment Lions for Music or Entertainment Lions for Sport.
The 73rd edition of Cannes Lions will take place from 22 to 26 June in Cannes, France. The first set of winners will be announced on 22 June, with awards presented throughout the festival.
Last year, India won 32 Lions, including one Grand Prix, nine Gold, nine Silver and 13 Bronze awards. The country secured 85 shortlists from 982 entries across 22 categories.
