Ronitaa Italia has joined Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd. as Creative Head - 1838, where she will oversee the platform's creative direction across print, digital and events.
Italia brings more than two decades of experience across content, design, lifestyle and media. Before joining BCCL, she was editor-in-chief of GoodHomes and Home and Design Trends at Worldwide Media.
Earlier in her career, Italia served as consulting editor for design and decor at STIRworld, director of content at Ogaan Publications and editor of GoodHomes. She has also held editorial roles at The Ideal Home & Garden and Hindustan Times.
In her new role, Italia will lead the creative direction of 1838 across print and digital storytelling, as well as event programming. Her responsibilities will include developing art, design and cultural experiences, signature brand properties and luxury exhibitions, while building a community around the platform.
The appointment comes as BCCL continues to develop 1838's presence at the intersection of culture, design and luxury.
