CRED Foundation has launched its first educational advertising campaign, using humour and celebrity-led films to explain concepts related to credit and responsible financial behaviour.
The campaign comprises four ads, each featuring a different celebrity and focusing on aspects of credit. The films are designed to explain financial concepts in short-form formats without relying heavily on financial jargon.
The first film focuses on loan stacking and has been released on Instagram, YouTube and JioHotstar. The remaining films are scheduled to be released every Tuesday and Thursday from Oct. 6-18, 2026.
Miten Sampat, interim CEO, CRED, said, “While creditworthiness unlocks opportunity and access, it has been shrouded in esoteric language so far. As an extension of the CRED mission to catalyse financial progress, CRED Foundation’s new campaign closes the gaps in understanding with humour and clarity. It’s the first step in our effort to make financial literacy a right for every Indian.”
